Is John Scott’s long awaited book Pro Oracle Application Express finally shipping?
It looks like!
There are reports on the OTN APEX forum that they have received a mail from Amazon that they have shipped the book. I also checked the order page of Amazon and it shows that the book is on stock.
I had the privilege to read one of the chapters one year ago and if the rest of the book has the same quality, then it’s a must read for every Oracle APEX developer!
BTW, I’m pretty sure John will sign it if you bring it to OOW – John, the new superstar! Maybe he even has to do an ad hock live session where he reads from his book

You think there will be people there with insomnia?

Georges,
The concepts in the book aren’t specific to just 3.1, they cover lots of areas which are equally applicable to almost all Apex applications.
Of course there are some ‘later’ features in there too.
John.

The chapter in the book that covers using DBMS_LDAP to access a Microsoft Active Directory is superb.
